not an accurate represetation of hegel's thought:
hegel's concept of 'synthesis' does not refer to an 'end' to be attained, in other words, it is not a 'stationary' state...synthesis is only a 'transition', a temporality that is to be followed by another anti-thesis...
we do swing, and swinging choses the aptitude, not us; because we become the swing...
